President Boakai Condoles with Côte d’Ivoire

The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. has sent a message of condolence to the government and people of Côte d’Ivoire following the death of Major General Dem Aly Justin, Deputy Chief of Staff.

In his message, President Boakai described the late general as an exemplary leader whose dedication to the advancement of the Ivorian people and contributions to peace, democracy and national development would be remembered.

He said General Dem Aly Justin’s vision and commitment to the welfare of his people had left an indelible mark not only on Côte d’Ivoire but also on the African continent.

“Liberia recalls with deep appreciation the cordial relations fostered between our two nations,” President Boakai said.

He also commended the late general’s support for strengthening bilateral cooperation and his solidarity with Liberia during critical moments in the country’s national journey.

“At this time of grief, we stand with you and the people of Côte d’Ivoire in mourning the loss of such a remarkable statesman,” he said.

President Boakai concluded by expressing hope that General Dem Aly Justin’s legacy would continue to inspire present and future generations, and prayed that the Almighty would grant his soul peaceful repose.
