The President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., has sent a message of congratulations to His Excellency Claudia Sheibaum, President of the United Mexican States on the occasion marking the 204th Independence Anniversary of that country on September 16, 2025.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to his Mexican counterpart, Her Excellency Claudia Sheibaum, President Joseph Boakai extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Government and People of the United Mexican States on behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Liberia and in his own name.

 "As you commemorate this momentous day, the Government and people of Liberia recall the historical ties of friendship subsisting between our two countries, reflected in our increasing cooperation, prominently demonstrated by our expressed interest to foster international peace and security", the Liberian leader stressed.

President Boakai then prayed that the Almighty God will continue to endow President Claudia Sheibaum with good health as she leads the great people of Mexico in peace, unity and enduring prosperity.
