President Boakai Extols Guinea on Its 68th Independence Day
The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a congratulatory message to the government and people of the Republic of Guinea on the occasion marking that country’s 68th Independence Anniversary on Friday, October 2, 2026.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in his message to his H.E. Mamady Doumbouya, President Joseph Boakai on behalf of the government and people of Liberia and in his own name, extended best wishes through President Doumbouya to the government and people of Guinea as they celebrate this historic day.
The Liberian leader stated that the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between the two countries and peoples will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity.
“I look forward to continued collaboration, as we work together in furtherance of the principles of the African Union, the United Nations and ECOWAS for the promotion of regional and international peace and security,” President Boakai noted.
President Boakai prayed that Almighty Allah will continue to endow President Doumbouya with abundant wisdom and strength as he lead the people of Guinea to greater prosperity.
